I designed this piece inspired by the song of the same name by Lydia the Bard. It's about speaking and not being heard. Being ignored even when you're screaming.

The politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke about an incident in which another politician: Representative Yoho berated her and called her derogatory names. In response a flood of women posted about the moment on TikTok showing support and wearing AOC's signature red lipstick.

Inspired by the exhibit of the same name created in 2013 by Jen Brockman and Dr. Mary Wyandt-Hiebert in which sexual assault survivors donated the clothing they were assaulted in to showcase that clothing does not equal consent.The exhibit has gone digital and has thousands of submissions but I chose these three articles with intent: an infant onesie, a sweat set and a child's fairy costume.

The fall of Roe v Wade did not stop abortions, it only restricted access to safe abortions. In the absence of safe methods, people will simply return to the dangerous methods like those featured in the drawing: wire hangers, bleach and wormwood.
